Super Deal Alfred Angelo Sapphire 995

I purchased this dress off the rack from Brilliant Bridal in Mesa, AZ. It is Alfred Angelo Sapphire collection style 995, from their 2017 (and last) collection before AA went out of business. This may have been a part of the Alfred Angelo liqudation sale - my stylist at Brilliant Bridal said that this collection never even made it into stores so the dress is super rare and hard to find. I had ordered a custom dress and I wasn't sure if it was going to arrive; in the end, I never wore this dress.

This dress is absoultely beautiful and I came really close to wearing both dresses, but I had a destination wedding and it was unreasonable to haul another large ballgown to our destination :)  I paid $800+tax for this as a "backup dress" and I'm asking $600 OBO.

This is in the light gold / ivory / silver color scheme - the lining is light gold, then there's a a layer of ivory lace and two layers of ivory tulle on top. There is scattered beading on the top layer of tulle and the dress looks beautifully textured and really detailed. The color looks like a warm ivory IMO - it doesn't look stark white so if you want a white-white dress, this isn't for you.

The label is size 4, and I'm a street size 4 and it fit almost perfect as-is. The boning and hidden strap on the inside makes it so that you get a perfect shape without needing further underwear. It definitely doesn't run small like most bridal collections, if anything I think the dress may run a smidge large. I could have gotten away with no alterations except for a hem, although my tailor suggested taking it in slightly at the bust and waist.

My measurements:
Height: 5'6
Bust: 34D
Waist: 27

Even with 4 inch heels, the dress was too long for me, so I think it can fit someone up to 5'11 after shoes.

The dress looks essentially brand new, I know I bought it off the rack but it doesn't look worn like a ton of people tried it on. I did unfortunately find a small tear at the hem - not sure if I caused this or if it was there when I bought it. It's not super noticeable and can probably be patched by a tailor.

I am located in the SF Bay Area and I am open to try-ons if you want to meet me & and also I'm open to returns minus my $25 listing fee) if it doesn't work out for you - would hate to have you stuck with a dress you don't like. Price includes free FedEx shipping in the continental U.S.
