I absolutely LOVED this dress and have never felt more beautiful than when I wore it. It is the perfect blend of modernity and sophistication, and the detachable bow is a fun twist. The fabric and make of the dress feel very luxurious - the seamstress that did my alterations kept saying it felt like a Vera Wang gown. This dress hugs you in all the right places, yet still feels comfortable enough to move and dance the night away.
This dress is a fit-to-flare gown with a chapel-length train. It comes with a detachable bow that is also chapel length. The dress is in excellent condition. The dress has been dry-cleaned, and my wedding was indoors so there was minimal wear/tear.
I got the following alterations done to the dress:
- label size is a 4, altered to approximately a size 2 (I typically wear a size 2 in regular dresses)
- french bustle added
- bow attachment switched from a single hook to 2, clear snap buttons. This made the bow feel much more secured
- hemmed (with my wedding shoes on, I was approximately 5'8")
I will never regret having this dress as my wedding dress. It is very flattering and modern, yet also classic enough to never go out of style. I hope someone else gets a chance to wear the dress and love it as much as I did!
